The mission of Founding Forests, Inc., is to provide fundraising opportunities for schools and other constructive social activities, while promoting environmental awareness in young Americans.

Our School Partnership

School fundraising is an integral part of the Founding Forests approach. A portion of every tree sponsorship goes back to the student’s school. Each tree helps generate the funds needed for a variety of school activities. Our goal is to cultivate in students the sense of ownership that comes from financing their own activities, concurrent with making the world a planet that is beautiful and provides clean air.

Included in many of our programs is a scholarship award system for participating students. Additionally, we support the continuing education of all Americans, and hope to contribute to further opportunities for higher learning.

We work with groups to structure a program that helps raise money for the intended activity, providing incentive to spur sales consistent with each group’s specific needs.

Our Vision

We envision a world where young people take responsibility for our country’s natural resources and see themselves as agents of change for a sustainable future.

Through our program, young people take on responsibility for the conservation of natural resources. They help generate income for their own activities while raising awareness about the urgent, far-reaching need for reforestation.

Participating students are educated about deforestation and its causes, as well as reforestation and its effects. Our educational goal is to see the Founding Forests program integrated into existing school curricula, and to support the development of new educational materials.
